Relaxing

The figures in much of Renata Lindqvist’s art are tributes to Bodhisattvas, beings that compassionately refrain from entering nirvana to save others. While the figure is worshipped as a deity in Mahayana Buddhism, Lindqvist’s figures instead act as a reminder of the extraordinary powers of ordinary human beings. This reclining figure is sculpted from porcelain and is available in multiple colorways.
